Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty visited Herold Precision Metals Thursday May 11, 2006. Governor Pawlenty toured our facility and visited with our staff. He is very interested in the growth of small businesses in the State of Minnesota and the United States. HPM has been a long time proponent of increasing the skilled manufacturing workforce in the State of Minnesota. HPM is involved with the Minnesota Manufacturers' Coalition and Positively Minnesota. These agencies work with manufacturers to identify and work on areas of concern such as The Workforce, Secondary School Training, Health Care Costs, Outsourcing, etc… It was an exciting day for all HPM employees. Manufacturing in the State of Minnesota has always been and will continue to be a vital part of our State's economy.
