Frequently Asked Questions

Is HPM interested in new customers?
HPM welcomes new business and will work with you to achieve your sourcing objectives.
How can we get started?
Most of our relationships begin with an RFQ (Request For Quote).  HPM fabricates parts to print and for quoting purposes we prefer to receive your prints in a PDF file. Please send directly to mailto:bobg@heroldprecision.com
What other information is needed besides prints when I submit the RFQ?
When you submit your RFQ please let us know the following:
  • Expected turnaround time for the RFQ
  • Expected manufacturing lead times
  • Quantities for current RFQ (Estimated Annual Usage if Available)
  • Any special requirements if not annotated on print  (Example: Specific Packaging Requirements)
  • Are you open to cost reduction ideas? Such as using rivet construction vs. welding, or changing material.
How are new customers managed at Herold Precision Metals?
Once an RFQ is received at HPM an Account Manager will be assigned to your business.
